Biography

Hello! My name is Jennifer Simeral, one of the 6th Grade Math teachers at PCCS! I will be starting my 14th year teaching at Piedmont Community Charter School and LOVE IT!!!! I have been in the education field since 1999. I previously taught in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 6 years and also worked for a math textbook company for three years. While working for the textbook company, not only was I a part of the development team in which we wrote the textbooks themselves, but I was also able to enjoy helping fellow educators as an academic coach in two counties in North Carolina!

I am already getting excited for the upcoming school year and cannot wait to work with both you and your child! Working as a team is the key to your child’s success as they enter their middle school years. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions.
