National Honor Society Students invites students with a 3.70 unweighted GPA in grades 10-12. Admission is not automatic. Selection for membership is by a Faculty Council and is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and volunteer service. (contact: [email protected])
National Technical Honor Society invites Juniors and Seniors who have or will complete a CTE pathway, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 in their CTE courses, maintain an overall 3.2 GPA, and who meet attendance and behavior requirements. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides close to $300,000 in scholarships annually, and strives to help connect education and industry to build a highly skilled workforce. Piedmont Patriot Historians focuses on local and state history with field trips and service projects helping the community. Students complete projects for a yearly competition held in Raleigh.(contact: [email protected])

Girls on the Run is an organization for girls in grades 3-4 that promotes goal setting and physical movement. Practices are held after school with a 5K run at the end of the session. (contact: [email protected])
Patriot Singers is an after-school club for students in 4th grade, with invitations extended to 3rd grade in the Spring. The group provides an enriching musical experience for our talented students with performances to showcase their commitment. (contact: [email protected])
Drivers ED: Piedmont Community Charter School high school campus provides a 30 seat classroom and a parking space for the NC Driving School to offer a driver education class on our campus for our students. Students must be at least 14 ½ years old and enrolled in school. We use the first come, first served method of selecting the student applicants to participate in the classroom. The NC Driving School typically sends us the updated Driver’s Ed Calendar in August each year with class dates.
