Welcome to 7th Grade Language Arts. This year you will be challenged to grow as a reader and as a writer. I use research based practices to drive all of my instruction. Students will have required daily reading, utilize reading and writing journals, and be responsible for the maintenance of my reading and writing notebooks My goal is to grow each of my students and to foster a community of lifelong learners. Welcome to the magic of reading!
Weekly Updates and Grades
Each class will have its own Google Classroom where all assignments will be posted. Students absent from class, must check the google class site for missing work. Handouts will be available in the Class hanging folders, sorted by the date they were given out.
Students and Parents are reminded to check Parent Portal weekly to follow up with grades and missing assignments.
