I am so excited to be the elementary school counselor at PCCS! I retired from the public school system with over 25 years of experience, serving Gaston and Lincoln counties as both an elementary and middle school counselor. I then worked for a little over a year at a veterinary clinic in my hometown but soon realized that I loved working with young students even more than getting snuggles from puppies and kittens.

I am a lifelong resident of Cherryville, married to my high school sweetheart, and have three uniquely amazing children. Our family loves:

• each other and God (A LOT)
• serving the middle school/high school youth in our church together
• our 4 dogs and 1 cat
• baseball, especially the Cherryville Ironmen!
• watching movies
• traveling to the mountains and beaches of our great state
• Appalachian State University
• Disney and Dollywood

As your elementary school counselor, I look forward to building strong relationships and helping students become the very best version of themselves they can possibly be through individual and small group counseling, classroom lessons/character development, and special projects throughout the school year.
