Grading Policy

Letter Grades

A = 90 – 100

B = 80 – 89

C = 70 – 79

D = 60 – 69

F = 59 or below

Tests/Projects will count for 50% of your overall grade. You will have one test per unit and a few projects that will count as test grades throughout the duration of this class.. 

Quizzes will count for 30% of your overall grade. You should expect a minimum of 2 quizzes per unit. All quizzes will be announced in advance.

Homework will count for 20% of your overall grade. The only way to learn math is to PRACTICE, so you can expect homework daily.

Makeup Work

In the event that you are absent, you can find all of your assignments and notes from that day in Google Classroom and/or your unit packet. All makeup assignments will be due within three days of your absence. Anything after three days will not be accepted. YOU are responsible for showing me your makeup work. I will not seek you out to obtain it.
