Welcome! 

My name is Elissa Nanney.  I have been teaching since 1999, both English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish.  Previously, I taught ESL for Gaston County Schools.  I am a graduate of Ashbrook High School and UNC Chapel Hill, where I studied Spanish and Communications.  During college, I studied abroad in Seville, Spain. After graduating from college, I earned my ESL and teaching degree, also from UNC Chapel Hill.

I live in Gastonia with my husband and two sons. I am excited to be a Patriot and look forward to a great year!
